[VIDEO] And he has absolutely no idea.
[This absolutely isn't the island he was heading for. And, what's worse, his crew, the Heart Pirates, don't seem to be here.] [This is some kind of a nightmare, isn't it?] [Probably not. For a nightmare, it's not nightmarish enough, and much too dull.] [After familiarising himself with this strange new kind of Snail here, he quickly decides to use it to transmit.]
Alright, who's responsible for this? Show yourself, let's get it over with. I'd find you, but I'm in a hurry now.

[He has absolutely no intentions of ever calling upon him casually, or putting him at risk. It's not Law's place to protect him, not Law's place to keep him safe, and he doesn't want to cause him any more trouble than he has to.
But with how sick he is, how traumatized his own mind has become, he might have to beg for help someday. But for now, he just snuggles Law for a moment, before letting go. Rosinante won't cling to him, not with how dirty he is and what blood is on his hands, he killed so much good in Law and he's hurt so many people, but he can't help but to enjoy the contact while it lasted.]

Thank you. I'll hold you to that promise, you can't get rid of me. Especially if your life's ever threatened.
[Law grins. He only lets go when he senses Rosinante wants to let go, and not a second earlier.]

[He looks him over once more, trying to take in the differences between his Law and this one. It's amazing how they can be so similar and so different at the same time. Their expressions are so different, the way they speak is similar but still worlds apart. It's surreal and it has him missing his husband even more.] You're so different than I'm used to. But it's nice. You really grew up into an impressive young man. Your Cora-san will be so pleased when he meets you again, he won't be able to get over how healthy and powerful you look!

That Cora-san you've mentioned, he really is the one who--
--whom I know? He must be.
[The one who's given me life, at the cost of his own, he doesn't say, but maybe his gaze does. The one who's proven, impossibly, that maybe the world isn't made only of evil. My Cora-san.]
I'll meet him soon! I. I'll try not to cry. I want him to know I'm happy. How-- how can I do that? I want him to know, beyond doubt, that he's important to me. But I don't want him to know how much I've missed him. Because what if that upsets him? He's too kind. I--
Never mind. Why am I asking you? I don't want to upset you, either.

He won't be upset if you cry! I promise. He'll be so happy to see you, Law I'm so happy to see you that it hurts and I know you're not my Law. So how much happier will he be, to see you like this?
You'll be fine!

[Squeezes Rosinante's hand gently. It's selfish. It's Law once more reassuring himself that he's not having a strangely blissful dream.]
You'd know, seeing as [he smirks] he's another you. So, I'll trust in that. I just don't want to hurt Cora-san. Ever.

[Rosinante runs his hands over Law's, he has innate focus on comforting and making Law happy, and it extends to this Law within reason. It does seem like an odd dream, somehow.]
You won't hurt him. As long as you're healthy and alive, anything and everything is alright. He'll do whatever he can for you.
