[Weeks of texting this mysterious figure have led Rosinante to insisting on meeting. The anonymous individual is sharp, that's for sure, and it's refreshing to talk to someone who has concerns similar to his own but otherwise has a different angle on what's relevant and what poses real threats. The world - or many worlds, really - are full of people who all want their piece, who stand to benefit from spying on the network's users or following people through Traverse jumps, and understanding who is involved and why is too complex for one person to handle.
But if he's to trust anything they say from here at all, he needs to know more about this person. Call him old-fashioned, but meeting face to face will let him work out who this is and what their motives might be, at least better than he could over a few letters on a little screen. He tells Law to stay back, to message a couple key people if he doesn't return in a given time, and to stay safe. And then with little more than his pistol and his phone, he sets off away from the Sunny to the meeting point he's arranged.
It's a place he's staked out before. On an island not too far from a jump point, so it's easy to access but easy to flee. There's an open grassy plain - a pleasant meadow, but also a place where he doesn't think he can get ambushed since he can see for a good mile all around. Whoever is coming to meet, he'll see them from a good deal off, coming from the city, and he should be able to tell that they're alone. It's the safest thing he can come up with for now.
So he checks the time, checks his gun, then waits. Hopefully this person will prove themselves trustworthy.]
