He finds an odd sort of relief in seeing that this version of him shares that same misfortune - it's something they can commiserate over, maybe. Mostly it's just that someone else understands what it's like to be so accident-prone.

[His thumb stings, so he redirects his attention to his hand where, in his negligence, he seems to have cut himself. Whoops! Well, the mango has been thankfully spared any accidental bleeding but he makes a face and sticks this thumb in his mouth for a second. Hm. Should have grabbed some bandages but instead he leans over to pluck a nearby leaf and press it to the injury so it will seal quicker.]
... Here, maybe you should just serve yourself.
[So he flips the knife in his right hand, hilt facing toward the other Rosinante, and passes it over, to be followed by the fruit.]
