You're wonderful, Law. I tried so hard, I really did. I wanted to do things right, but I kept failing. But I did try, I kept trying and I still try. And I wanted you to be alright and happy. I did whatever my Law wanted, anything he wanted, but I still feel like I failed him sometimes.
[Rosinante does start crying at that, he doesn't mean to, and he absolutely doesn't intent to show such weakness in front of Law but he can't help it. Years of shaking guilt come to the surface, and gratitude, even this Law who doesn't know how sick he is cares about him and thinks that he's good. That his levels upon levels of stacking sins are mistakes.
And this time, he really does try to hug him and hold him. He doesn't care, this Law needs a good hug and it doesn't matter if he isn't his Cora-san or not. Sometimes you make do in life, and you take care of what's in front of you first.
And Law is here, from a different world or no, but he's Law and perfect and worthy of all of the love and attention.
