[Oh, this could be awkward if he doesn't figure out how to proceed. His situation, his circumstances, even his looks are different than the other Rosinante he met here. And his muteness makes it more difficult, he'll have to go with text for any sort of real communication...

To top the whole situation off, he just has a sinking feeling that this isn't his Law, the one from his world. In fact, he's almost entirely certain. Still, he's happy despite that. Incredibly happy to see him, to see that another world's Law made it. That the sacrifices that were made by a counterpart of his didn't go to waste.

There's a video clip sent for Rosinante waving. That's a good start. But it's short, and followed by a text.]

It's more complicated than that. So far, we haven't figured out who's responsible.

[Oh, well, this is bad. He hates upsetting him, and Rosinante really wishes his counterpart was here right now. He'd know how to deal with this Law, this one has to be from his world. Nothing in his personal repertoire has really prepared him for an adult Law that didn't grow up with him, that didn't live with him in that palace. A Law that had to suffer, in ways that his Law never did.

He sighs, and sends another text.]

[This is not going how he'd pictured it. He'd built up a scenario in his mind of how he would find Law again after their day together before, and how they would catch up on how hard they had been searching for each other and everything would be all right again.

Did he forget? Is this a different version of him? Please, don't let it be a version that hates him for something some other duplicate did, he couldn't handle that.

These weird SmartSnails are so hard to use, how does he - oh there's the video button. He comes into focus frowning intently, a little off-center, with a cigarette dangling from his mouth and a different makeup style than Law is used to, having gone for yellow and orange sun rays below his right eye and purple lipstick that doesn't extend into a wide smile.]
